I received a book today that was declared lost in the mail. The sender marked it sent on June 25th, but printed the wrapper July 14th, so I knew there was going to be a problem. The book was postmarked July 18th. There was no message from the sender to me. The book is in good condition, but I want it documented that the book was mailed 3+ weeks after being marked as mailed. When I click received "yes, but with a problem", my choices are damaged by sender, damaged by USPS, requestor conditions not met, and wrong book received. Nowhere does it give me the option of entering the postmark date. If I click "yes" instead of "yes but with a problem", I'm pretty sure I will be able to enter the postmark date at that time. I just want to make sure that TPTB get notification that this person sent this book that late without messaging me for prior approval. Thanks in advance.
