I use the instant credit option when I mail books. I accidentally mailed the wrong book to a requestor. I want to be able to mail this to her-how can I print a new wrapper with the new date and pay for the postage again-when I go to reprint, it just tells me I have already paid for it and don't need to pay again. That doesn't seem right-don't think the post office would accept the same label twice? Feeling like a moron about this-
You cannot reuse a reprint of the origional mailer, the postage and tracking are void and the system will not generate new ones.
If you already have her address, you can use the PBS feature Mail-to-a-friend.
Enter the book ISBN in the PBS search box, then click on 'More Options', the bottom choice is usually "Mail-to-a-friend". Enter her address when prompted. This option allows you to print and track the transaction, without transferring credit(s). It only appears on the senders home page, so the receiver can merely mark the origional transaction when it arrives.
