I am one of the beta testers for the new electronic postage that will be implemented here at PBS! In order to help test it, I need to send books! :-) Place an order and help us work out any kinks before it goes live to the masses! :-) Yes, there are a number of old Harlequin books on my shelf, but there are also a lot of fiction and non-fiction if you filter out the romances! Thanks for helping. |

A tester here, too. And always happy to deal on whatever's on my shelf--just PM, please :) Something like 2 for 1, 5 for 2, 10 for 3? Thanks for browsing! Last Edited on: 8/29/07 7:19 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

How did you get to be a tester? Were you contacted or did you volunteer? |
They volunteered. R&R took the first 56 or so people that volunteered to do it. |
I was asked if I wanted to volunteer and I said yes. :) I think they contacted people who had expressed interest in the printable postage. |

Another Beta Tester here and I'll do a 4 for 1 on my bookshelf! I need to get them out of here anyway. :) |

I'm also a tester & would be happy to do a 2/1 deal on anything on my shelf, including audio books. I have a eclectic variety of books on my shelf, but I don't have any Harlequins. I am a little worried about getting overwhelmed, so I'm only going to post the deal here. So, please make sure you PM me with your free choice right away, so I don't print postage before I get your freebie request. |

If you order a lightweight paperback from a tester of the new postage, chances are it will go first class and be mailed sooner than 2 days... all we have to do is wrap it and drop it in a blue box!! Are you sure about this? My post office won't let me ship any of my books first class anymore, they said the picture books, which are lightweight, are over the size limit (length-width-height) for first class, and the mass market paperbacks are over the thickness limit for first class. Ever since they've added size limits to what can be sent first class, I've hardly been able to use it at all! |

Bren, I don't know about picture size books, but many of the mass market paperbacks I take to the PO end up going first class. The PO always meters them for me and recommends it, since a lot of them weigh under 6 oz. The new postal regulations confuse me too. Some of the stuff I am hearing about isn't even new, it's just stuff I never even new before, like mailing those manilla envelopes with metal clasps costs more. I never knew that! I need to spend more time in the postal forum..... |

Thanks for all the orders!! Keep 'em coming! LOL - much as I hate glitches, it is fun to discover something not quite right and to be able to report it! :-D |

I'm a beta tester too - a lot of variety on my shelf. |
