Well, everyone was helpful when I was trying to remember a TV show, how about a book/author now?  I remember there are vampires and regular people.  The vampires live in a city of their own.  I remember a woman going to the vampire city to work with a team of people, like investigators and I think the head of the team was a vampire.  One girl on the team talked to her mother/grandmother who was dead.  I think another person was a shifter.  Ultimately I think the girl ended up with the vampire.  Can anyone help?  Thank you in advance

They are Blood Secrets (1st in series) and Dark Lies (2nd in series) by Vivi Anna.  I really enjoyed the mix of CSI and Paranormal romance :)

Oooohhh, what a good series! Gil Grissom as a vampire! :) Does anyone know if she's going to do more? I really hope so!

Thank you very much!  I should have known they were Harliquen Nocturne's, I have read about all of them but I haven't kept them - and I really enjoyed those 2 books.  Appreciate you helping me out.  I really hope she continues the theme in some other books, it was a good one.

Does anyone here have them on their shelves?  Perhaps as a 2 for 1 deal?  I always rather buy from folks I "know" on the forums.  Thanks.
