it would help if you tell us what you would consider a "good romance novel". Another one's "good" can be someone's "bad".
Like for instance, everyone I know loves Judith McNaught's PARADISE. Except I thought it was boring and mediocre.
You've come to the right place. If you like historicals, my number 1 recommendation is Outlander (Diana Gabaldon), then Flowers from the Storm, then The Last Arrow (Marsha Canham). The Last Arrow isn't on there but should be. They never reviewed it. What a shame!
