An interesting look into the journal of Anais Nin and her need to engage in sexual encounters and love encounters with the men in her life in order to feel a purpose.

My husband and I read this book together and enjoyed it very much. It does have alot of graphic sexual detail. We both enjoyed the honesty with which she describes her experiences. It truely is a journal of love.

I loved this book which is actually just a portion of Anais Nin's diaries. To me, it's the most coherent and uniform section from those diaries whose entries can be lengthy. Easy to pick up without having read her other years.
