Author: Letta Neely
Praise for Letta Neely This poetry comes out raw, and gets under the skin. Lenna Cumberbatch, Out in the Mountains Audre Lorde called poetry "the quality of light by which we scrutinize our lives"...Letta's work adds another crucial and brilliant element to that spectrum. This was self-published by a local black lesbian poet. She was one of the first women I ever heard read her poetry aloud at an event and it gave me the chills and made me cry. She is steadily developing a name for herself and appears at conferences and readings all over the country. My wife and I realized we both had a copy so that is the only reason that I posted this one.
