Hi! I'm a newbie and I have to say I am in love with this site!
I received my first 2 books in the mail today. Yippee!
First question: I read on a discussion FIFO, what is that? Actually there are a few of acronyms that are causing me to not understand post, but the FIFO is the most recent one.
Question two: I was wondering if I put a book in my wishlist and I don't care whether it is hardback or paperback or which isbn version do I have to put each type in my wishlist seperately or will it notify me if any type comes listed as long as I put one on the list?
Even though i'm a newbie I will say I have a tip for other newbies. Use a scale to save money. Thankfully I already had a scale and the first book I sent weighed 15.85 ounces on my scale and PBS had it at 1.5 pounds.
Welcome - glad you are enjoying the site
FIFO - first in, first out. link to the PBS Glossary
For your wishlist, it is best to put all versions on there if you aren't picky. Once you get a copy, you can delete the rest.
Amen on the scale - saves lots of money!

If you don't care about binding then add all versions to your WL. If all copies are WL then it won't send an email to tell you if a different version is posted because it automatically gets offered to a wisher. It will send another version notice if the other version has no wishers. But it doesn't hold it for you so it might already be gone by the time you check your email. You can choose that email option under Settings under My Account.
Thank you guys very much for the help and the welcome!
