Love her books. This author transports the reader to the location. If you can't go there in person this is the next best thing to being there in person.

Have tried to read this author but don't care for the style of writing which is mostly just pages of descriptions, didn't care for the character either.

The author Nevada Barr was recently a forest ranger on the Natchez Trail Parkway. By profession the author is a forest ranger who served in many of our national parks.

This a cliffhanger mystery. Four young people in the park disappear without a trace. Anna Pigeon has to thankless job of finding them. Anna's life is in peril but she seeks the perpetraors of this crime. Will she live or die? Read this book and find out.
