For light reading, this book is entertaining. As someone with family members who sell real estate, I found the depictions of less-than-upfront sales tactics and difficult clients to be realistic and amusing.

Reminded me of Trading Up by Candace Bushnell and Slaves of New York by Tama Janowitz, in that it's all about NYC real estate. Not as good as Jennifer Belle's Going Down-- I never really liked Liv, and I thought the whole gun subplot was ridiculous.

It was a good fast read. They had a few very odd characters, but the book is based in NYC. About a divorced/separated 26 year old woman who becomes a real estate agent.

The main character of this story is one of the most memorable, wittiest, and most fun I've come across in a long time. While this is definitely a "chick" read, I didn't feel inundated with the usual girly cliches while involved with the story.

If not for the ending, I wouldn't recommend this book. I thought most of the book could be summed up as a raunchy description of a pathetic "heroine" but I did enjoy where she ended up on the last few pages. I also enjoyed the real estate scenes and there were some funny insights. I just didn't think there was much that was believable or entertaining in the rest of the story.

A fun story. A story of a woman, with no job skills, who leaves her husband and then has to find a new apartment, a job, and hopefully, a new love. She ends up with a job as a reader, for a blind judge, then leaves to become a real estate agent. Liked the characters, all of them, including the heroine, have flaws (as we all do). Each chapter is entitled with a real estate description, using abbreviations - fun! RM W RVRVW....

This book was interesting. Its said to be funny, I didn't find it all that funny. BUT it was fun. Its a crazy romp around new York city with a newly divorced young woman. she gets involved with a very WEIRD man, but than finds the strength to not feel she has to depend on a man. That she has her own strength. Over all this was a fast read and a fun little romp. I would recommend it to someone wanting to shake their head at some wacky scenes.
