Felt affinity for fiesty Gillyanne who tames the heart of Sir Connor. Interesting plot. Found some of the scottish brouge slowed down my reading. Had too vivid descriptions of the nether regions for my taste.

The time period and subject matter is one of my favorites and this was book was nicely done. Readers should be warned there is a good deal of graphic sex but it added to the story.

The female lead is the pretty typical independent, head strong sort found in novels of this genre. The author didn't overdue it, though, and I found myself really liking the character.

Liked the male lead and glad it ended as it did. Can't say more for fear of revealing too much.
