My shelf is currently on hold because I lost my job and cannot afford to mail anything right now, but I have:

Concepts of Physical Fitness (Active Lifestyles for Wellness)
Author: Charles B. Corbin

Concepts of Physical Fitness: Active Lifestyles for Wellness provides readers with self-management skills necessary to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This well established text uses a proven conceptual format, brief concepts rather than chapters, to provide information in a useful and concise way, and is organized to focus on ?process? or lifestyle changes with early coverage of planning so students can apply the concepts immediately. Includes Health Quest 4.2 CD ROM

This is a college textbook I used my freshman year, way back in 2003. : ) If interested, PM me and I will put it back for you.

GREAT THREAD!  THANK YOU FOR STARTING IT!

Break Free: Stop Dieting Lose Weight Forever by Geneen Roth

http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780940687141-Break+Free+Stop+Dieting+Lose+Weight+Forever

Those familiar with the author know she is the guru of non-dieting.  This audio is on casette and is of one of her workshops.  I loved actually hearing her talk about this issue.

However, this is no big book, so to speak, and not worth the 2 credits.  So, if you order this, and pm me, I will buddy you back a credit!

I'm a total believer in lowering your carbohydrate intake for losing weight and feeling well overall. So I have:

How I Gave Up My Lowfat Diet and Lost Forty Pounds by Dana Carpender-Subtitled "Everybody's Guide to Low Carbohydrate Dieting", How I Gave Up My Low Fat Diet and Lost Forty Pounds! is a breezy, chatty,non-technical, fun-to-read explanation of low carbohydrate dieting -- why it works, the surprising health benefits, and most importantly, how to "do" the diet. Or, rather, diets, since the book details three very different main approaches to controlling carbohydrates (including the Basic Low Carb Diet, similar to Atkins or Protein Power, and the Mini-Binge Diet, popularized as The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet), plus several variations, finally summing up the basic principles which tie them all together. The point is to give the reader the tools necessary to construct a new way of eating that will fit his or her body, psyche, and lifestyle, thus allowing them to stay slim, energetic, and healthy for life.

The Secret to Low Carb Success!: How to Get the Most Out of Your Low Carbohydrate Diet by Laura Richard -Filled with practical tips, essential advice, and personal success stories, an authoritative guide to reduced carbohydrate diet programs examines all of the major programs available, guiding readers through the benefits and pitfalls of each and showing them how to create their own, personalized low carbohydrate lifestyle.
