I loved Passion by Lisa Valdez and have been looking for something similar. I've read Robin Schone & Jess . Does anyone know of any comparable authors?

Sylvia Day has historical erotica.  I've only read Bad Boys Ahoy which isn't as silly as the title makes it sound and I have Pride and Pleasure on my TBR.

Elizabeth Hoyt isn't erotica, but she does have some steamy sex scenes.  The Raven Prince is an excellent book by her. smiley

If you like a western theme, you could try Sarah McCarty or Beth Williamson

Sarah McCarty is one of my favorites (Caine's Reckoning - yum!)

Kate Pearce is a new to me author and I am LOVING her "simply" series.

I'm not big on erotica, but enjoyed The Wicked West (novella) by Victoria Dahl.

Two authors that I've enjoyed are Diane Whiteside-her Devil series is Western set and Evangalne Collins.  Her debut was outstanding and I'm in the middle of her 2nd book now.

Mary Wine is one of my favorites and I agree that Beth Williamson is great for western themed erotica.

Have you read any Sylvia Day?  It's historical romance, but extremely explicit and steamy.   Well written too.

Also, try Emma Holly, Beyond Innocence.

Have you come to the DOS, Den of Sin, and asked?  They really know their books.  Under Games.

I really enjoyed this one.  It's one of the hottest historicals I've read.

Revenge wears rubies is on my TBR too. I think I should reorganize my reading. I read patience but sadly it did not live up to it's predecessor.

Emily is right, the gals and guys in the DOS (den of sin) will be happy to give you all manner of recommendations.  You might want to specify what level of steaminess you are comfortable with so you don't get recommendations for stuff that you would be uncomfortable reading, or that might not be spicy enough for you.  But we welcome any who come with open arms and lots of yummy pictures

Someone recommended "Revenge Wears Rubies  and I've ordered it.  Hope I like it.  I had all of Sarah McCarty's books for about a year.  Decided to read one and if I didn't like it post it on Paperback.  Well, I stayed up till 3:00 reading for about a week.  Read all of the Promises books one after another.  I really liked them.  Now I look for Sarah's books whenever I decide I need another book(NOT).  I think Passion by Liz Valdez is probably the most erotic book I've ever read.  There is even a good story line.  I've read Patience and it was ok, but nothing like Passion.  I'll be curious to see what books are recommended on here.

Now this is a question I can answer. I love love love Sylvia Day. Robin Schone - The Lady's Tutor is really good. I do have to say that Passion was one of my favorites. Cheryl Holt has too many mean men for my taste but you should pick up Love Lessons. Noelle Mack is a favorite and probably the smuttiest of all of these. Three is really good.

I love, love, loved the Brotherhood books by Ward.  So, thinking that I loved these books so much, Ward is on my automatic buy list.  I bought Coven and had a very difficult time finishing the book.  Has anyone read Crave and is it worth my time.

I'll second Michelle's Kate Pearce recommendation. Her Simply series has been great so far. I've liked the historicals I've read by Celia May Hart, too, but unfortunately, she hasn't written much. And Emma Holly's Beyond Seduction (the sequel to Beyond Innocence, mentioned above) is on my keeper shelf. And Sylvia Day is a favorite, too.
