I really liked that series, wish she'd write more in that sub-genre, but she's writing more paranormal lately.

I agree.  I don't care that much about her paranormal stuff.  I've never read anything more than blurb but it doesn't hold my interest.

His Lordship's True Lady is .99 at Amazon today.  Probably a "Prime Day" thing.  Thats the only "good" deal I found so far, other stuffed dropped but not as much .....

Thanks, Jan, I snapped it up!

By the way, if any of you don't already have a charity you support on Amazon Smile, it would be great if you could support the Highlands Nature Friends, we run an environmental education/recreation/arts center, and I'm on the Board of Trustees. You just have to go to smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com whenever you buy something. The first time you do it, you choose the charity you want to donate to. It doesn't cost you anything, Amazon makes a small donation(half a percent) with every purchase.

The first 4 books of Mary Lancaster's Blackhaven Brides series is available for .99 for a boxed set. I already got all of them separately, but it's a great deal for 4 full length books. I really enjoy this series! https://www.amazon.com/Blackhaven-Brides-Books-Mary-Lancaster-ebook/dp/B07G4JYHHJ/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1533325371&sr=1-1

There's an older Mary Jo Putney book free on Amazon, "The Wild Child"  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076KZ6PTY/ref=series_rw_dp_sw

I remember liking it, so I'll give it a reread.

I just happened to notice that the first 5 books in Jo Beverly's Company of Rogues series are all on sale for $1.99 each at Amazon.

1. An Arranged Marriage

2. An Unwilling Bride

3. Christmas Angel

4. Forbidden

5. Dangerous Joy

In case any of these are on your keeper shelf and you want to get rid of the paperbacks!

Love that series Karin!  Christmas Angel is one of my favorite M/C stories of all time.

I picked up a freebie romance last month at Amazon, that turned out to be quite good! I just read the whole book in one night. Although it's not particularly Christmassy, it does take place during the holiday season, and it's got a Cinderella type story for the heroine(with a wicked aunt instead of stepmother), plus a real Beauty and the Beast theme in relation to the hero.

The title is One Wicked Winter

Unfortunately, it's no longer free, but I would keep an eye out for bargains from this author!

Karin, ref: "One Wicked Winter." It's FREE on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. =) Thanks for the info.

I hope everyone had a wonderful blessed Christmas! I've been away awhile (& still recouping) medical problems made ours pretty miserable this year & unable to even put up our tree. Next year...Catching up on a LOT of reading...but somehow bought/downloaded a LOT of reading too! LOL! broken heartsmiley

Hi Cali....I was thinking of you just the other day when I was putting stickers all over some envelopes. Smile. Boo that you've been under the weather for so long. Hope you get well soon. Bummer about no tree.

A belated Merry Christmas to everyone and an early Happy New Year.

Cali: Sorry to hear you've been sick.  Hope all is better now and you are on the road to recovery.  Haven't received a book from you for quite some time and I miss seeing the packages loaded with stickers!  So cheerful and fun.  Take care!
