I just finished a really good true crime book, The Devil's Gentleman by Harold Schecter, and my favorite book of all time is Devil in the White City by Erik Larson.  I love this kind of historic true crime, can anyone recommend any others similiar to these?

I have had the audio of Devil in the White City for ages but still haven't listened to it..I'll have to dig it out soon.  I don't usually pick out the historical ones but I know it has gotten good reviews.  I did read ~Ordeal by Hunger~ about the Donner party but it isn't really true crime but it was a fascinating book.  I'm listening to Pillars of the Earth by Follet now and it is a great fiction book.

My library has The Devil's Gentleman on order so I am #27 on the list.
