I'm interested in Western Romances and I've noticed that my local used bookstores don't have very many.  If anyone could suggest some authors to look for.  I've read everything by Jodi Thomas and Lorraine Heath's westerns.  I have some Alexis Harringtons and Jillian Harts to trade.  Recently I've been reading the "Rock Creek Six" by Lori Handeland and Linda Devlin.  I've read the first three of the series and am looking for the last six. If anyone has them at home, if you post them I'd like to get them.

Definitely Maggie Osborne.    Catherine Anderson, Kate Bridges, Victoria Bylin, Mary Connealy, Pam Crooks, Stacey Kayne and Cheryl St John also write them.

Like Alexis Harrington.  Wish she still wrote!   Mary McBride and Theresa Michaels.  Jenna Kernan-lots of Canadian frontier set Westerns.  Cheryl St. John and Carolyn Davidson too.

Linda Castle(with a couple of pseudos) wrote several set in my corner of CO

The Rock Creek Six books appear to be WL so you might want to add them to your WL if you haven't already.  You aren't really supposed to ask for WL books to be posted to you unless you're #1.  (Or if you're responding to an offer a sender has put up in one of the WL threads).

Jenna Kernan

Can't believe I forgot to mention her.  She has great books about the Rocky Mountains and trappers and Indians......

Pamela Morsi and LaVyrle Spencer have books that are really different from the usual romance.  Both are great writers, too.

Heather Graham although hers might be more Civil War then Western-I've only read her contemporaries so far.

Elizabeth Lowell's "Only Series"

Also, Leigh Greenwood's "Seven Brides" and "Cowboy" series

I loved these series. Both are post Civil War series, but they move forward as the characters grow up.
