I love to read (as we all do) but find less and less time to sit with a great book.  I started listening to books on CD on my way to and from work.

Can anyone recommend this genre on CD?  I'm listening right now to the "Greatest Generation" by Tom Brokaw.  Great stuff!

Thanks,Allison :)

If you have a library near you, look up the modern scholar or the great courses cd's.

In My Hands – Memories of a Holocaust Rescuer – Irina Gut Opdyke. Good reader and an interesting story

Path Between the Seas: The Creation of the Panama Canal, 1870-1914 – David McCullough. I liked the reader but it was a little hard to follow all of the names of the people involved.
