I want to do a timeline with the kidlet but I've looked into the kits and they can be quite pricey. I'm sure that I could find images of people, places and events as we go and print them out but I would love to find a place to print out a bunch at one time. I would prefer black & white so the kidlets can color them but I'll consider anything someone knows about.

We just use Wikipedia, Google Images, & Cosmeo (we have a subscription).

Enchanted Learning is a good place also:

I had a newly-discovered free link, but I can't find it in my favorites.  I did a search and did find this page:

Scroll down to the free resources.

If you go here http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/  they have a ton under famous people.  Plus, they are all black and white!  You can make your own set, just right click on the picture and copy it or save as, your choice.  I love this site and use it often as I make a lot of worksheets for my kids.  I still have yet to find things that I really like! ;-)

Thank you so much for the clipartetc site!  I was working on a home school  newsletter and just wasn't finding great clipart for it.  I love the clipart on this site - I needed black and white - it is just perfect!  I will use this site many, many times!
