Maybe I'm not as much of a science-fiction fan as I believed I was. Most of these stories were silly and ridiculous. "Moon of Ice" was my personal favorite. At least there was a touch of realism to it. I freely admit that I didn't make sense of the last story, "Valhalla," but then, I didn't feel like trying too hard.
I enjoy alternate histories/universes/timelines, but this was asking too much of the reader. I was hoping for most of the authors to have taken it seriously. They didn't deliver.
This is a collection of "alternative history" short stories, each surrounding the premise that the Nazi's won World War II. They are science fiction in nature. I read several of them and wasn't reeally grabbed; I found them kind of silly and too far out there. But perhaps this is mostly because I am not really a science fiction fan. Therefore, I believe true science fiction lovers would appreciate this unusual collection more than I did.
