In another thread, Julie mentioned holiday mysteries and it occurred to me that I've never read one.  Please share some recommendations.                 What are your favorite titles?

Thanks.

Your post got me curious so I googled Holiday mysteries.  I thought I'd find a "few" books.  Instead I found this_long_list_of_books!

My friend loves Anne Perry's series of holiday mysteries. A Christmas Journey is the first one. I have not read them but she likes them a lot.

I have read some of the Stephanie Plum holiday ones, by Janet Evanivich. They were okay.

Most of the holiday mysteries I've read tend to be series books--seems like almost every series author eventually incorporates a holiday mystery into their series. Problem is, I don't read them out of order, so sometimes I'm reading about the holidays in April or August! LOL

I've had The Christmas Train by Baldacci on my TBR for years. Maybe this will be the year I finally read it!

I've had to switch to my laptop tonight and I hate typing on this teeny keyboard, but I am starting this one tonight.

The first Agatha Christie book I ever read was Hercule Poirot's Christmas. It was a really good mystery which sent me in search of all her other books.

Leslie Meier's series has lots of holiday mysteries, not just the December holidays.  I've read a few of them.  She's not my fave author, but she's enjoyable enough that I plan on getting around to reading more of her.  Here are her books

My favorites (and the only holiday mysteries on my keeper shelf besides Hercule Poirot's Christmas) are two fantastic anthologies of holiday-themed Sherlock Holmes stories by the best modern mystery writers.
