This is an account of the holocaust by a woman who lived it--in the ghettos, in Auchwitz, in the labor camps, in German factories. It is a heart wrenching story, but also a heart warming story of relationships forged in the furnace of affliction. I am richer for having read this book. It inspires me to be brave in the face of trouble and thankful for quiet peaceful days. I recommend.
