I couldn't wait to read this 4th in the series. It did not disappoint! The characters mature and grow in Home to Big Stone Gap.

It was interesting to read about the continuing story of the life of Ava Maria but it was very predictable and
not as enjoyable as Book 1 in the series.

Ave Maria comes "full circle" in this fourth book in the Big Stone Gap series. I had not read the first three in a long time, but enjoyed the characters, flaws and all, so much that I ordered the first in the series to read again.
