My hubby and I are buying our first home. I'd like some recommendations for books on home maintenance and repairs. Especially ones on your shelf! lol

check out "Home Comforts: the art and science of keeping house" by Cheryl Mendelson...its a fabulous resource! (its not on my PBS shelf because i could NEVER part with my copy)

Have you cruised goodwill--there always seem to be good ones there:) The one I use over and over is an older one by Better Homes and GardensBetter Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Home Repair, Maintenance and Improvement

It's got everything, how to fix leaky faucets, lay tile, etc. Sadly I'm not offering it, just putting the title out there. Congrats!
