Mr. Bradshaw has a good grasp of the challenges facing many of us once we become adults with childhood issues leading us around by the nose. This book was one of the most pivotal books I read during my initial recovery in therapy. I consider it a must read for anyone grappling with childhood issues or anyone wondering just why in the heck they can't get it together as an adult.

Terrific book so the person who has experienced trauma. It has been very helpful. Some of the concepts were a bit too new age for me, thus 4 stars instead of 5.
