An excellent book in an excellent series, book 4. Charlotte decides to start a pie making business prior to Thanksgiving to earn some holiday money, which she can use with the 3 grandchildren that she just took in, due to their mom's death. The three children range from ages 10-16. The business takes off faster than anyone thought. She was hoping to work with her grandchildren and pass on the family recipes. Her husband asks her what do you plan on teaching them after she ends up doing a lot of work herself.

She decides to keep going until Thanksgiving. Each family member learns some very valuable lessons. The kids surprise Charlotte with their insight and capabilities.
