This is the book that the series HOMICIDE: Life on the Streets as based upon. EXCELLENT story.

I have read this book 3 times and have enjoyed it each and every time. It explores the inner workings of the Baltimore Homicide detectives for one year in the 80's. You won't be able to put it down!

Love this book. They based the great TV show on it...but seriously, no book has captured the gritty reality of working a real crime scene better. This is one fantastic book.
