Got this book from a friend she said it was very good not my type of book
Donald Westlake can take the most unusual situations and write a solid, believable, interesting story about it. Here, a best-selling author who is blocked and can't seem to write anything makes a deal with an unpublished writer that...well, you need to read this book.
not the funny funny westlake I am used to, but a VERY GOOD story.
A good suspenful novel. A man makes a deal with another writer, but what is hook to the deal.
A very good read. A struggling writer accepts a job that he thinks will keep his life on track, but it has very unexpected consequences.
Well written. Did not see this happening at the end.
two writers...one great book written by a failed author...TEMPTATION...follows and greed lingers....complicated relationships unravel...bringing daylight to a dark secret
nothing but a Westlake would go this far

The hook usually is what an author introduces first in their book to catch and hold the readers attention and grab them. In this book, however, the 'hook' grabs another writers interest as a proposition is dangled before him that he can't resist. And now both writers become involved in each others life in a plot that may or may not in rich each beneficially. A well developed plot that twists and turns as it also 'hooks' the reader with this page turner that will keep you up late at night.Westlake delivers another great read.Gery
