This book was not very good to me, which was a very big disappointment! The first Lisa Jackson book I read was Shiver and I loved it. But this one could not hold my interest. I think it was because I was not very into the main character. Dr Sam was pretty boring. The only thing I liked about her was that she found a good man. But other then that, she was snoozesville. I am, although, looking forward to reading the compainion book, Cold Blooded.
Another great thriller/mystery by Lisa Jackson! Popular late-night radio host Dr. Samantha Leeds is being terrorized by a mysterious caller who calls himself "John". Great read and descriptions of New Orleans make me almost feel as though I was there. Although...I wouldn't want to be in Samantha' shoes - waaaay too many murders and threats surrounding her!
Currently 5/5 Stars.

This was a wonderful story!! It kept me on the edge of my seat during the whole thing. Since I had just visited the wonderful city of New Orleans this summer, it made it all the more interesting. I definitely recommend this and can't wait to start the second book in the series!
Radio pyschologist is stalked by someone connected to a listener who committed suicide years ago. Or so they thought it was suicide. But are jealous co-workers at the radio station possibly involved too? Who is the charming neighbor who just moved in nearby? Is he a good samaritan or the stalker?
A real page turner, this book kept me reading til late at night. Only disappointing factor for me was that the New Orleans setting didn't factor into the plot. I thought it would give me a nice trip down memory lane, especially since the series is called "New Orleans", but no such thing. Will read book 2 to follow up and see which characters reappear.
