Anyone who has ever wished for an old fashioned doctor who makes house calls, or who has collections of a caring family doctor, will see those values reflected in House Calls. Dr. Stern helped bridge the gap between the direct, personal healing of the country doctor and the modern media image of the physician.

In House Calls, he tells of the lives he has touched, and some of those that have touched his. He is a master storyteller, and his stories range from the profound to the profoundly funny.

Great book!!!!!! Great Stories.
