Does anyone have an idea how the order of the books in this series goes?  If so, could it be listed here?  There are so many books in the series, it's hard to tell how to order them.  Thanks.

I have read some of them. Trying to get the whole series in the older style. I did notice though what you said Deborah. Some of the same plots with different characters, etc. Still something I can live with. I like to read the historical books like his.

I have the whole series, too, and it did peter out toward the end.  I was disappointed that he let Gilbert's sword just disappear, reappear briefly around the Civil War, IIRC, and then disappear entirely.  It would have been an excellent plot divice to trace it through the generations.

one of my biggest problems was when he took a character that already had a history AND a book based on his life, and then about 5 books later, the same character now had a completely different background, family, even ACCENT. seriously it just killed me. it was like, come on do you not read your own books???
