I ordered a book a while back, and on the map it says it's been 'here' for a week or more. I know it's a little early to start worrying about it being lost, but i wondered if that map could just be very wrong this time. I've received other books mailed long after it was said to be mailed, and i was just wondering if anyone else had found their map to be somewhat defective, lol.

Where do you find the delivery map? I have some books I would like to check on.

and isn't it just when someone uses DC that it shows the truck?   been awhile since I got a book so can't remember

Brandi, it would be on your main account page on the books you mailed or are being mailed to you

Yeah it's not accurate at all.

Last week the delivery map showed the book was halfway here.

The day after I looked at it I got a PM from the sender saying she was just in her car and saw the book that she completely forgot to send and that she would put it in the mailbox in a couple days.

Sometimes that little truck does wheelies in the ocean, or drives to Alaska or Hawaii.  Not accurate at all, just a "fun" tool :-)

The only time it is accurate is when it is scanned in at the beginning (if it is scanned in at all) and when it arrives at the zipcode post office.  It doesn't mean anything unless it passes through a processing hub or end post office.  It doesn't have anything to do with being delivered to the recipient's house.    But I thought it was so cute once when I looked at it on a computer that has sound (mine doesn't) and the truck honked!

Now I have found the map showing where I've mailed books to, and where I've received them from, to be accurate.
