I had a book offered to me by one of my PBS friends but instead of contacting me first she just posted it to me and then PM'd me asking if I wanted it. I politely declined as it was not a book that I was that anxious to get at this moment and I was low on credits. So, I clicked on the "Not Now" on the request and it put the book "ON HOLD" and highlighted pink on my WL. Now I can't seem to get it off hold. Does anyone know how to do this?? My shelf or WL is not on vacation hold and I really just want to keep that book on my WL and stay in place in line for it. Please help if you know the answer.

Thanks!

I just tried it in my Wish List (not via Not Now, just the normal way) and I was able to checkmark a book and click Hold, get a confirmation message, and then was able to check it again and unhold. Are you getting any kind of error message when you try to take it off hold?

Marilyn, you should be able to just check the box next to the book title and then click the button in the upper right hand corner of the page to take it off hold.  Did you try to do this and it didn't work?

Oh my goodness - I feel like an idiot. I did not realize there were "hold" and "unhold" buttons. I was checking the box by the book and then clicking on Auto Request On and nothing would happen. OK, problem solved. Thank you ladies for your concern and taking the time to answer this.
