Amanda, seriously. You need to read the help files.

I am trying to help you. I have mentioned nicely several times that the help files would help you out very much but you seem not to notice.

I'm having trouble seeing attitude in the response you received, Amanda.  The suggestion is a good one:  the Help Center has answers to all kinds of questions covering a wide variety of topics.  It's useful for beginners and veterans of the site alike.  I even refer to it from time to time.  When you're starting out it's a good idea to browse through it a bit to get acquainted with the site.  Once you've taken the time to look through the Help info I'm sure things will go much more smoothly for you.

I know I should have seen it but sometimes I don't take the time to look.

Your best bet is to do as advised. Read the help (I did when I started), get a feel for how the site runs & go from there. :)

When you first joined, you were assigned a tour guide.   His\her name was added to your buddy list.  You may have better luck with your questions if you direct them to your tour guide.  If you can't find your tour guide, or are not getting your questions answered, PM me and I'll try to help you get the hang of the system and point you to the sections of the help center that will answer your questions.

Amanda, If you go to Your Account and click on Personal Messages, there will be a box that says "Your tour guide is" whoever.  If you click on the button there you can send a message to your Tour Guide.  The Tour Guides are volunteers here to help.  It would be a good idea to peruse the Help Center first though and then PM any of the TGs if you have further questions.
