Hello there! I am a fairly new member, and this is the first time I've had this issue so I am unsure of what to do. I requested a book, the poster accepted my request but sent me a PM that the cover is torn. I appreciate the PM, but my daughter likes to read books and then return them to the system, so I would like to cancel the request. Unfortunately, it says wrapper printed--do I just assume that the request will be canceled by the poster?

Thanks for your help!

~Terri

If the tear on the cover is less than 1", it is postable.  You might need to wait till you receive it and then mark it RWAP if the tear is bigger than that and request your credit to be returned.  You can also PM the sender and ask how big the tear is, and that if it is larger than 1" the book does not meet posting criteria and let them know you will mark it as RWAP.  They might choose to cancel the request, if it's not already mailed.

Thanks Dawn-I didn't know any tears were acceptable. Hopefully, since she sent  me a PM she will just cancel the order on her end. If not, it's nice to know we can repost it if it's just a small tear.

Once the order has been printed, only the sender can cancel.  Good luck.

Send her a PM and let her know that she has to cancel the order, since you cannot. She may not realize that you cannot cancel after she has printed the label.
