I'm not aware of any settings for the mailing label Jeanne, it was my impression the mailing label is standardized per USPS guidelines.  Any chance the labels you've noticed were printed using e-bay or another mail vender?

Labels with printable postage have a smaller font than the regular ones. You cannot adjust this. Printable postage labels have to be approved by USPS and once approved they can't be changed without going through the whole process again. USPS has standards dictating how big the black square in the top banner is, how tall the Media Mail text is, how much white space is around the address, etc, so they are effectively forcing the smaller font size. Anyway, they have approved the PBS wrapper and they are the ones who have to read that small font, so I don't worry about it.

The post office machines use the bar code below the address, not the type.  Increasing the type size might mess up the bar code, as the only way I know how to increase the font size is to change the page set up on the printer.
