This is a very moving story about women and why they become friends. It may cause you to think about the choices you make.

Someone in my book club picked this book because the author is from our city, Greensboro, NC and the book takes place in a well known neighborhood here. There was, or course, the excitement of knowing exactly where she was talking about when describing a location but even more so was the excitement over the book itself. Great book for women to read and discuss together or just to read even if you're not in a group. The title calls it "A Novel of Women's Friendships". While this is the main focus of the book it does delve into other relationships as well; spousal, parent/child, etc. You're not just getting one opinion here but 5. Everyone in the group agreed...Great book!!
