There is a book I sent out recently that is still on my "Books Sent" tab that I just noticed has the wrong book image associated with it.  The book is "Help!  I'm Trapped in an Alien's Body", ISBN 9780590762717, and the image is that of Babysitter's Club, Dawn and the Impossible Three.  Is there somewhere to report these kinds of things to get them corrected?  Thanks.

If there are multiple cover designs all with the same ISBN (usually different editions) there is no reason to correct it.  If you did "correct" it, the cover would then be wrong for all the other copies in different editions.  As long as the book's ISBN, title, and form (hard or soft)  match, the cover image doesn't matter.

(for Denise) it sounds like the wrong book cover is associated with her book and not even close to what the book is title wise (at least that is my interpretation)

Lesley, at the bottom of the pages is a link that says Upload Book Covers, click on that, put in the ISBN and upload a book cover.  make sure you crop the cover so there is no white showing on any of the sides (which will happen if you download from Amazon)

Leslie, I tried that, but it's trying to browse my computer for an image.  I don't have one to upload- though I know there is a correct image in the system that comes up with other versions of this book.  Do I have to copy that image to my computer and then upload it to that ISBN to get this corrected?  Or can I just point it somehow to the correct image that is already in the system?  (Pardon my ignorance- I'm not terribly knowledgeable about this stuff- there is a reason I don't have an avatar!)

Thanks!

Yes, you need to save it so you can upload it to the new ISBN. Just right-click on the image to download it, then use the "Upload Book Covers" to upload it from your computer.

Lesley, you would need to copy the image from Amazon or other source onto your computer, and crop the image if it needed it.  I would be happy to help you with this, if you've never done it and are unsure how.  Or, if you prefer, you could PM me with the web links for the corrected images, and I would be happy to crop them and submit for you.  - Sianeka

Thanks all.  We'll have to see if this works.  I went to one of the other versions of this book in the PBS system (with the correct image) and saved the image to my computer and uploaded it.  It is not showing up yet though.  I'm not sure about the cropping- I know a couple of you mentioned it, but if it's the image that is already in the PBS system, would it still need to be cropped?  Robin, if what I did does not work, I may take you up on your offer, because the only cropping I know how to do is with scissors, LOL.  How long does it usually take for a new book image to show up?

If it's already in the system, then 99.9% of the time, it's just fine.  It may take a few days to show up, as it has to go through an approval process.  It depends on what our approver volunteers have going on in their "real" life. :-)  Thanks so much for uploading the image, Leslie!

it depends on how busy the moderators/approvers are.  I uploaded a bunch and they were approved within 24 hours.

and I see that someone else responded about the imaging needing to be on your computer.  sorry I left that small (but important!) detail out
