I sent a book and did not realize it was damaged. How do I credit the receiver?

Hi Viv:  Did the receiver mark it received?   Once she does the book goes to your Transaction Archive (My Accounts Tab) and from there click on her nickname/name (what is in blue) this brings you to her bookshelf.  Click on send credit (verify the name is corret above this button) then selet the amount of credits you want to send her and click on send.  Then go to your Credit Registry and it show the transaction.

Once the book is in your Transaction Archive, click on the Request Details and there is a Refund Credit button there. That way the credit return stays tied to the transaction. Buddying works, but there's no way to indicate what it is for.

You should give them a heads up too, that you are going to refund their credit once the book arrives, so that they know what to expect.

Altho, I am curious how you knew after it was wrapped that it was damaged, but didn't know it before it was wrapped?

Oh, thank you, Cozi, I must have been brain-dead. I see that now. I agree with the others that you should use the button on the TA for that book.
