I just added a book to my wish list and the book had 14 people waiting for it.  When I looked at my wish list it says I'm 1 of 14......how is this possible?  I'm not going to complain if I get this book earlier than I expected, but still........??

It will correct itself, as I understood a conversation yesterday or the day before, some glitch still to be worked out. Next time you look, you will be 14 of14

I had that happen once.   When I went back and looked at it a few minutes later I had dropped to the end of the line.   I did wonder what would have happened if the book had been posted within those first few minutes. :)

HA!  Yup, you're right...and others must have been wishing for the book at the same time as  me because I'm further down now than when I clicked :)

Thanks!

Wait a minute (new person here). Where is this place where you can see where you are in line? I keep looking at my wish list and I don't see anything like that.

Cystal there is a tiny exclamation point  ! by your book on your wish list.   Click on it and BEHOLD - you can see your place in line.  It's sorta gray looking.

I posted a similar thread last week I think.  Same numbers too-I put a book on my WL and when I checked to see how long the line was it said I was 1 of 14.  When I went back later I was 14 of 14.

I had the same question as Crystal, but now I see it.  It is too bad there isn't a log of when the last book was posted.  If you can see that the book gets posted once a week, then you know you have a little wait ahead of you, but if you see that it has never been posted, or only gets posted once every couple of months, then you know that you may be better off just purchasing it.

What I'd like to know is how you can move up on the WL for a book that hasn't been published yet?  I have about 6 or 7 yet to be published books on my WL and I am steadily moving up on a least 4 of them.  I don't mean 1 or 2 spots, more like 15 to 20 spots.  Weird, huh?!

Maybe some of the people ahead of you deleted the book from their wishlists?
