when you look  at your bookshelf , is there a way to find how many other copies of the book there are and the number your copy is in line to be requested?

If you put the book on your reminder list, it will show how many copies are in the system.

There's no way to see where you are in that line though.

When the new WL list is up and running, the system should be able to tell us how many copies are in the system without having to go the reminder list route. That's how it works on Swapadvd anyway. When you pull up a DVD it'll say how many copies are posted. Not who has them but or anything-just that there are x copies.  But it doesn't tell you that your copy is say #5 out of 100.  That would be nice.
