I am very upset. After 8 months as a member,  I received my first "Requestor Condition not Met" notice at 8:00 this morning.  Been thinking all day how to handle it as there were NO requestor conditions on the request...  The book was a wishlist book, in good condition and I don't understand why I would get this notification.  I have not yet received a pm from the requestor stating what the problem was...  and I do not feel I deserve to have a "black mark" on my record.  Nor do I feel I should refund a credit, as I have no idea what was wrong with the transaction.  Any thoughts on what to do??

I would send a PM to the sender using the PM button on your transaction archive.  As nice as you can be tell them that there were no requestor conditions when you accepted to send the book.  You feel that the book is in good condition and will not refund a credit.  Then I would wait to see what the other member says.  There may be a few reasons why they marked the book RWAP that have nothing to do with you.  The other member may have thought that they had a RC for that book and didn't and when your book came in they saw it didn't follow their RC they marked it RWAP.  Or they could have marked the book RWAP by mistake and that may be why you have not gotten a PM from the other member.

Is there a way to check if there were RC's.  I am sure there weren't any as I always look, but what happens if she says that there was an RC?

Go to your My Account tab and click on Transaction Archive.  From there find the transaction and click on "Request Details".  If there was an RC it will be there.  If there was not, then go ahead and send a note to the PBS team to have them address the situation.  The person *might* also have accidentally hit the wrong received button.  Best of luck!

Yea, that's what I thought, no RC listed.  Do I need to pm the person or just contact the pbs team?

I would PM the person.  They might have hit the wrong button when marking it.  Perhaps it got damaged in transit, or maybe they forgot they had turned off their RCs.

They might have also thought they had RCS on but didn't. PBS will have a record of whether they had RCS turned on for that request or not.  Or it could have been a mistake on their part. I had someone RWP me because they were positive they ordered an audiobook when they really ordered a hardback. They didn't even notice that they had only paid 1 credit.

Check your transaction archive and see if it shows an RC being there.

Then pm back that there is no RC on the request per the transaction record and they need to note that they marked the RWAP in error.  If they don't fix that, then contact the PBS team.

I had this happen to me once a few months ago too. It was an issue of being an ex-library book. There were no RCs on the request so I sent the book and then got a RWAP for "RC not met" with a request for a returned credit. Now, I'm not perfect, so I thought maybe I'd just had a menopausal brain fart or something, but when I looked at the TA, there was no RC on that request. I pm'd back and told the receiver I would not refund the credit as there was no RC. Turns out she THOUGHT she had turned it on, but hadn't. It was resolved easily, but it had me scrambling for a few hours there.
