A wishlisted audiobook was just offered to me.  I believe there are about 10 wishers behind me.

The sender then pm'd me that she had accidentally posted the abridged version of the audiobook when the unabridged version was what I had wishlisted.  She asked me to decline the offer of this audio book since it is not the one I had on my wishlist.

Apparently, she does not have a cancel option on her end of the transaction.  But if I cancel on my end, won't that remove me from the wishlist queue?

How can I handle this?  Accept it and then ask HER to cancel the transaction on HER end?  Would that put me back in my original place in the wishlist queue?

Thanks, Jan

Yes, I think that's right - you need to accept and she needs to cancel so you go back to your place in line, and she can then repost her book correctly.

If you cancel, you go to the back of the wish list line.  She made the mistake by listing the wrong edition.  She needs to accept and then cancel.

She has to cancel the order.  But she can't until it is an active order.  You need to accept the order.  At the point when she can print the labels, there is an option for her to cancel the order.  This will keep you in your place on the wishlist.

Yes Jan, if you cancel the transaction you loose your place on the waitlist.  I'd follow Emily's directions (and keep the pm she sent JIC a problem developes).
