I requested 5 books from a poster 7 days ago.  All were accepted and lables printed 6 days ago.  However the status has not changed in 6 days.  Is there a reason for this?  I read on PBS that the deadline for mailing books after acceptance and labels have been printed is 2 days after the sender's selected alternate mailiing date.  Also, is there a way to check on the sender's alternate mailing date?  Thank you!

It depends on what date choice the sender made to mail the books.  If they chose "I can mail within two days", they have 5 days after the date of acceptance to mark the book mailed on the site.  If they chose "I can mail later" they have 2 days after the date of acceptance to mark it mailed.  You should be able to see the date that the member chose right in the box for the books.   The sender may also have mailed the books already, but forgot to mark them mailed.  It would be worth sending a PM to the sender to ask the status of your books - it may prompt their memory! 

I PM'd the sender and got a reply very quickly.  The books are on their way.  She just had a little trouble getting to the post office.  Thank you for your help!
