Ok I got a junky book that even has a page ripped and taped and it ripped out of the binding at the top. I told him and  sent him a picture and then he says it wasnt his book cause it said field flowers ( that was the name of my email background duh ). He also said that  I ripped and taped it ( the tape is yellow, guess I used old tape ) so I could complain cause I wanted a new book !! So I send more pictures and now hes saying I have to prove its the one  he sent!! How long do I put up with this junk ?

I'd just mark it unresolved and move on. He obviously won't give you a refund. How would you proveit's the one he sent anyway? Nothing will make him happy.

I would tell him that you are done with this transaction and if you get one more PM you'll contact PBS about harrassment. I would hope they would email him to tell him to leave you alone now.

It's already done. I'm pretty sure once you mark it unresolved then nothing can be done to change that. If he's that upset about it, he should have returned your credits right away instead of trying to drag it out like this.

Did you mark it as RWAP (Received With A Problem)?  Then if it isn't resolved in a timely fashion (and give them a deadline) then mark the transaction as "Unresolved" in the transaction archive.  This makes it a double negative mark.

And what do you expect as the resolution?  An apology?  A credit refund?

RWAP page from help

Make sure that you are polite and that any messages you send are from the book transaction page, under My Account.  This keeps the messages in the archive from PBS to review.

Welcome to PBS.  Most transactions do not go like this.

People don't have to know about him. If you mark the RWAP as unresolved and he continues to send out books in that condition he will loose his membership.

Marking it unresolved will put him closer to being reviewed by a person.   Also know as being "Flagged".

If they use foul language in their PMs, then that should be reported for immediate review.  To contact PBS to report someone, the link is in the lower corner under Company.

PBS generally does not get involved between people in disputes.  They will contact one person for problems, but they do not get between two swappers.   Part of this is because PBS is a very small company run on a shoestring with a bunch of members who volunteer.  Becoming judges is a huge undertaking, which PBS cannot afford to do and stay free of charges.

It sounds to me as if you are using email (that was the name of my email background) instead of contacting him through PBS PM's.   Now you have no record on this site of what he said nor of what you said.   You should always use the RWAP and PM from that so the record stays with the transaction.  You don't have to put up with anything more.  PM him ON THIS SITE and quote the helps that pretain to the situation and then mark it UNresolved.

Just mark it "unresolved" and move on.
