I'm being totally impatient, I know. haha but I sent two books out yesterday FIrst Class...do you usually get the credits as soon as the book is recieved (so like within a week?) Or does it take longer? I wanna request more books. hehe

Hi Brenda,

Books sent first class usually get there within 5-7 days at the longest. You then just have to wait for the receiver to mark them received and you will get your credits. You were correct, it is usually within a week. If the book goes media mail it can take up to 3 weeks sometimes. Media mail goes space available so some books get there in 3 days and others in 2 to 3 weeks. You never know!!

Now if you used the PBS delivery confirmation or online postage, it is different. With PBS Delivery Confirmation  you will get your credits as soon as the post office scans them in, usually within 24 hours. If you used online postage from PBS then you would have received your credits as soon as you marked them mailed.

It is so hard to wait isn't it.  I hope that the USPS is extra speedy for you and that you will get your credits very soon. Have fun looking for more books.

I've been getting media mail to the requestor in 2 days recently.  I'm really amazed, but glad as it gets my credits tome quickly.  LOL.  Pat

ETA:  Should have said the Postal service has been getting the media mail to the requestor in 2 days.

Most books take about a week even with media mail. But sometimes they do take those 26days or longer.  So don't be suprised if they do take that long.
