The book should have timed out after 5 days and rolled over to the next in line who has the book. If it has been two weeks then you are probably on the 3rd person who has the book. You may just be having a run of bad luck with inactive members. If you want the book, you can be patient and the request will go to someone who will send you the book.

Debbie - when I first joined I ordered a book, and watched it (can you tell I was new and anxious), and after 5 days I thought it had gone back to her, and I was so upset I canceled the book.  Then I discovered it had rolled over to the next person in line when the first person hadn't responded.  Lesson learned.  LOL. Check your transaction archive Debbie, and see if the book appears there with a red X in box in the left hand column.  When you hover over the red X, it should say something like 'No Answer From Sender After Allotted Time.'  That would indicate offers that have timed out and rolled over to the next member offering the book.

I checked transaction archive, and there was no response from 2 members.  Since this was not a wish list book, I thinking of cancelling, but I will wait and see.

thanks for info...

Just be patient a little longer. The next in line may send you the book. Let the current one time out. That way we have weeded out another inactive member.  After a certain number of non-responses, an inactive account is put on hold.

Just hang on and don't cancel! At PBS there is one thing you learn and that is patience!!!  And you are doing your share in  thinning out the inactive members.
