. . . do you wait for a reply after notifying a sender of an RWAP?

RWAP= received with a problem.

Nora - I always put a deadline in my PMs, but the guideline is 5 to 7 days.

Edited to fix spelling.

Thanks Mary.  I didn't think to mention a deadline, so I guess I'll give them a full week.

The Help Center says to wait 5 days. If they do not respond within 5 days, you should go in and mark the follow-up as sender has not responded. The site will contact the sender letting them know that they are required to communicate with you. If they do not contact you 2 days after that, then send in Feedback letting them know that the other member will not respond.

In my first uncooperative RWAP, I took the advice of other members and told the sender in a PM that she had seven days to give my credit back to me or I'd mark the situation as 'unresolved'. The time came and went without a reply from her so I marked it as I said I would.

I've been told that a week is the standard time to wait for a reply. Good luck!
