I see a lot of people when posting deals etc have their book titles appear in blue and act as a link to its PBS page.  How do I get it to do that?

Open two windows.  Copy the URL of the book detail page. Write the title and highlight it.  Then click the link button on the editor, looks like a football helmet or earth, paste in the URL.

Or add a step to copy the title and author, then go back for the URL.

This will also work on Book Lists.  (I think there are added steps needed for tag lists.)  That said, I do not think book lists are approved to use in the Book Bazaar.

Oh.  There is also a way to do this using html coding.   This works on mobile devices and in a PM.   This does not always copy, as it has been known to trigger the coding reaction.  Let's see if it works this time.

(This is from an old thread that I watch,  How to Post a Link.)

To post in a PM or from a mobile device, you need to use html coding

<a href="web address here">what you want the link to show up as here</a>

(To make a paragraph, use < p > without any spaces.)

The first method listed by Emily works for Forum posts, but you need to use her second method if you want to insert the link into a PM.

If you use the html method, be sure to check your syntax carefully before clicking "Send Message", else you may lose the entire portion of your PM following the link as well as the link itself. The syntax in Emily's post is correct.
