I think I would ask the vet to make sure since she's only 6 weeks. Usually they don't leave their mothers until 8 weeks. I also added water to soften the food because their little gums are kind of sore.
But this is what it says on my bag of Science Diet large breed puppy:
"This is only a starting point. Your dog may need more or less to maintain desired weight."
Pounds Less than 4 Months (cups per day)
2 1/2 C
5 1 1/8 C
8 1 1/2 C
10 1 3/4 C
20 3 C
My pups are 13 weeks and weigh 25 and 22 pounds and they get 3 cups a day right now plus about 1/2 c extra during training.

6 weeks! it's not usually legal to sell puppies that young, and well it shouldn't be. your pup really needs to still be with mama.
as for feeding, it depends on what brand of food you're feeding. good foods like innova puppy or canidae have less filler, so you don't need to feed (or clean up) nearly as much.
One thing you might keep in mind... puppies that leave their mom's early can have separation anxiety even years later. A friend of mine had a dog that the mother died when it was 6 weeks old. It had some behavior problems that the vet attributed to separation anxiety.
What kind of lab did you get? Is it male or female? You should read the book Marley and Me. I'm reading it now and it's great.
