sent books to who sent you books on the FIFO system?   I mean this is random.  So considering the number of members this shouldn't happen too often.  It's happened to me twice this last month that people who sent me books I've ended up sending books later.  Different series each time.  I like that one of them is in a state that is fairly low in population so I got to say both ways a book from/to that state! ;D

I think the odds are very small too, Ruth. But there is one gentleman on the other side of the country from me who must have a very similar reading list as I. We have traded 9 books through FIFO, 5 books from him and 4 books to him, in a little over 2 years time. It has been 4 different authors, and once I used  "order more from member" and ordered 2 books at the same time.

Cheryl, WoW, that's really incredible.  I was shocked when I discovered my 2.  It's easier for me since there have not been as many swaps as you and the one state is unusual.  I'm wondering if my swap member has realized it.  I thought if she sent me a "thank you" that I would PM her back about it.

With the number of books I've traded, it has happened multiple times but I honestly don't know how many and have no inclination to browse through the hundreds of books in my transaction archive to figure it out. LOL  A few people I've traded with back and forth (just using FIFO) I actually have met online on various online book groups--it always startles me when I print up the label on a book going out or look at the return address on one coming in to realize it's someone I know, but since we share book recommendations and such in those other groups, it's not really surprising!

I've ordered books from the system that ended up being from someone I "know" from the forums on a number of occasions.  I've also sent to the same people several times.  Whether they remembered something from my shelf from a previous order or I happened to be #1 in the FIFO line, I don't know.
